This small, untitled artwork is currently being shown on the curb of NW Thirteenth Avenue, a portal to Portland’s instant city, the Pearl District. It’s a temporary installation, so hurry up.

Couldn’t be a more suitable greeter for the Lexus chumps. Duchamp would smile.

If you haven’t seen the remarkable and fantastically complicated Duchamp at PAM – that should be your next destination. It’s quite amazing to stumble onto. I can’t find a mention of it on the PAM site. Completely contemporary, total genius in a bottle. Heady stuff. If you haven’t pawed it already – and if no one’s made off with it – PSU has a copy of Duchamp’s “Notes And Projects For The Large Glass” which is exactly what it says it is.
