The first annual Urban League Literacy Festival and Do The Right Thing & Read Children’s Book Fair will be September 20 from 11 AM to 4 PM, with local authors reading their writing, African music and dance, story-telling, book and button-making.

North Portland Library, 512 N. Killingsworth Street.

Free admission.  Every child ages pre-school to 5th grade will recieve a free book.
